The Full Story
Ever wondered what it’s actually like to be a tattoo artist?
Our Tattoo Experience Day is designed for people who are curious about tattooing and want to spend a full day inside a working studio learning how the process works from start to finish.
This is a relaxed, hands-on experience where you and a friend will spend the day with us learning about the tools, techniques, and processes behind tattooing — and by the end of the day you’ll even have the chance to tattoo each other.
No experience is needed, just curiosity and a steady hand.
The Agenda
10:00am
Introduction & The Basics
We begin with an introduction to the studio, covering hygiene, safety, and how tattoo equipment works. You’ll then practice using a tattoo machine on synthetic skin to get a feel for the basics.
12:00pm
Lunch Break
We’ll take a break for lunch and a chance to relax. This is also time to choose and finalise the small tattoo designs you’ll be doing later in the day.
1:00pm
Design & Stencils
You’ll learn how tattoo designs are prepared and how stencils are made and applied to the skin, getting everything ready for the tattoo session.
2:00pm – 4:00pm
Tattoo Each Other
Under the supervision of a professional artist, you’ll apply your stencils and tattoo each other. We’ll guide you through the process before finishing the day at 4pm.
